MORE THAN GETTING YOUR KNEE STRONG AGAIN.

ACL rehabilitation should prepare you for the demands of your sport — not simply get you through a timeline. That means rebuilding strength and capacity, but also learning to produce, absorb and redirect force as movement becomes faster and more complex.

REBUILD

Restore knee function while progressively rebuilding whole-limb strength, capacity and confidence.

DEVELOP

Progress force production, jumping, reactive qualities and athletic movement as your capacity develops.

RETURN

Build toward acceleration, deceleration, cutting and the speed and intensity required by your sport.

MEASURE • MOVE • PERFORM

OBJECTIVE DATA. EXPERIENCED COACHING.

Technology can tell us a great deal about what you produce. It doesn’t replace the coach’s eye. Testing is combined with movement analysis, clinical reasoning and an understanding of your sport to decide what matters and what should happen next.

STRENGTH & CAPACITY

Whole-limb strength, force production and capacity considered in relation to your body, recovery and sport.

JUMP & REACTIVE PERFORMANCE

Explosive and reactive qualities, force absorption and the ability to use strength when time is limited.

MOVEMENT & SPORT

Landing, deceleration, direction change and movement strategy progressed toward sport-relevant speed and complexity.

PREPARING FOR SPORT STARTS EARLY.

Athletic movement doesn’t need to wait until the final weeks of rehabilitation. As soon as it is appropriate, controlled drills can begin rebuilding athletic postures, coordination and movement strategies alongside strength and knee recovery.

As capacity improves, those foundations progress toward greater speed, intensity and complexity — helping reduce the gap between rehabilitation exercises and the movements your sport actually demands.

YOUR SPORT ISN’T PLAYED AT JOGGING SPEED.

Running matters. But for athletes returning to multidirectional and high-speed sport, it is one part of a much larger progression.

TWO WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER IN PORTLAND

ONGOING ACL REHABILITATION

One-to-one rehabilitation for athletes who want specialist guidance through the strength, running, jumping and return-to-performance stages of ACL recovery.

ACL PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

A focused assessment for athletes already in rehabilitation who want objective testing, another perspective and clear priorities for what comes next. You do not need to transfer your ongoing physical therapy to access this service.

ALREADY WORKING WITH A PHYSICAL THERAPIST?

You don’t need to change providers. A focused ACL performance assessment can complement your existing rehabilitation with additional objective testing, movement analysis and clear priorities to take back into your current program.
